Chaim,
We got back from dinner a little while ago.
Thank you so much.
It was a wonderful evening.
The service was excellent, and the food delicious and plentiful.
It really worked out great.
My mother in law could not have been happier.

Dear Chaim,
Thank you for hosting the Birthright Israel NEXT Professional Development seminar dinner.
We would like to thank you for your hospitality and willingness to accommodate. All our
professionals raved about the food!
We hope to work with you again in the future.
Sincerely,
Shira Shimshoni & Lauren Eisenberg
Dear Sirs,
My wife and I, on one of our recent recreational trips to New York, stopped quite by accident, at your delicatessen to have dinner on June 14th of this year. I wanted to share our impressions with you and your staff.
When we arrived, it was quite crowded, but we were seated at the end of a row of tables next to
a group of talkative young people. The host was very friendly and helpful and we got the impression that almost everyone, except us, had been there many times. There were families, young people, and groups engaged in lively conversation and the atmosphere was engaging and positive. The food was excellent and, in my younger days, I probably could have finished it all.
We wanted to thank you for an excellent dining experience and to
congratulate you on your ability to create a circumstance where food, fun, family, and faith can be shared in such a rewarding way.
You can be assured that your fine facility will be a regular feature of our trips to the city and I look forward to our next visit.
Best regards, Park and Denise Warne

Great
Kosher restaurant
OK, those complaining about prices need to relax. This is
a steakhouse catering to yuppies in midtown Manhattan,
don't expect $0.50 soft drinks. If you can't spend $30 per
person avoid this place outright. If you can afford it,
it's a great place to bring those who don't eat kosher
food. The food is usually quite good (every place has its
down days where stuff happens) and the service is fine and
the atmosphere doesn't make you wince as it might in your
run-of-the-mill pizza/felafel joint. In other words it's a
place to bring non-Jews without worrying you'll have to
explain and laugh off some of the unprofessional
restauranteurism of the establishment. My personal
favorite is their roasted tongue sandwich. Only those who
know how good this dish can be will appreciate how
excellently W&L prepare it. It has NEVER disappointed
me. I would say 8.5 times out of 10, you'll leave stuffed
and satisfied.

Great place!
Wolf and Lamb has a great environment. The staff is very
friendly, there's live jazz and it's just really nice in
general. Having not kept kosher all my life (and having
worked at some fancy non-kosher places in my life) I can
honestly say Wolf & Lamb is a classy, yet a
reasonably-priced place compared to non-kosher places.
It's great for dates as well as a place to take your
friends (I do both). I highly recommend Wolf and Lamb.

Excellent
Delicious! I am exceptionally happy. I was in the mood for
a hearty, "real" meal and my friend, who only
keeps kosher, thought we should try Wolf & Lamb.
Having eaten at some great non-kosher steak houses, I was
hesitant. Many of the kosher meat restaurants we've been
to have been overpriced for what you're getting - I had
yet to even try a decent kosher burger. Well, I am happy
to report, Wolff and Lamb totally exceeded my
expectations, the price range is right (we spent about
$150 after tax and tip for 2 steak dishes, a bottle of
wine and dessert), and they easily rival any steak house,
kosher or not. Yum! I'm still thinking about the dinner. I
can't wait to go back, and highly recommend it!

great
Just visited Wolf & Lamb on a jaunt to New York. We
went on a recommendation and were grateful for the advice.
This is a steakhouse in the spirit of the old New York
classics with an appreciation of the contemporary. I felt
like I was in a movie set. The crowd was friendly and the
mood upbeat. The sweet potato fries and Tilapia in chefs
tomato caper sauce were fabulous. My date, being a
vegetarian, went with the pasta marinara and commented on
the homemade sauce. Thanks for a job well done!

Went on a Tuesday night with family...food was good,
portions were huge and the service was friendly; bathrooms
could be cleaner though....only problem was my idiot

I only went 2 W&L because I've already taken my

fabulous Experience
this was not my first dining experience at Wolf & Lamb
but i finally felt compelled to leave a note. i have dined
at many of New York's finest restaurants and have had my
share of memorable meals. Wolf & Lamb always shines in
all the areas that i would rate a great restaurant on. it
has fabulous food consistently done right, great friendly,
attentive service and a convenient location right in
Midtown Manhattan yet still delivering great value. keep
up the great work. many thanks from a grateful diner.

Fantastic restaurant...
We have eaten in many kosher and non-kosher restaurants
alike over the years, even though we will only eat meat in
the kosher ones. The food has consistently been
excellent--creative combinations, grilled to perfection,
and always plentiful. It's a bit pricey, but Kosher food
is more expensive, and it is New York. But the quantity,
the quality, combined with the always friendly, accommodating,
competent yet relaxed service and atmosphere make it a
wonderful dining experience! Not a New York deli by any
means, yet also not a stuffy, over-priced nouveau kosher
restaurant either. Perfect for families and anyone who
needs kosher food, but even if you don't, absolutely worth
a try--you will not be disappointed!

Mildly Expensive yet worth every penny
Had the pleasure to lunch there a month ago. The Succulent
Tongue Dijon Grilled Sandwich was a taste party. Probably
the best sandwich I had in a while. I bit pricey for $16,
but worth every penny. Nice quite place. The place is
Kosher, which doesn't exactly make any difference to me,
but some might care. Recommend - YES, Highly

Lovely Restaurant
My husband & I had the pleasure of visiting this
lovely restaurant on March 1st last. I found the
restaurant on the Menupages website, and am I glad I did.
The meal was superb, I've never tasted steak like I had
that evening. Neither of us being Jewish, and having never
eaten kosher food before, the waitress took the time to
explain the various rules, and how the meat is processed
differently, and wow, what a difference in taste and
texture. Wonderful! There was also a great atmosphere in
the restaurant, and only for the fact that they close on
Fridays, we would definitely have returned for our last
night in New York. We highly recommend it and very much
look forward to returning the next time we visit the Big
Apple.

always great, would recommend to anyone, they also have
the very hard to get OK kosher certification.

A Fantastic Experience
My wife and I recently visited New York city and we had
the great pleasure of visiting your establishment and
enjoying a very pleasant meal. We are from Vancouver,
British Columbia, Canada and I believe it was on July 24th
or thereabouts that we ate in your restaurant. We are not
Jewish nor have we ever experience Kosher food prior to
this occasion. Upon entering the dining room area we did
sense for some reason that the other occupants were a bit
curious about us but at all times they were friendly
glances and once again we were feeling quite comfortable
with our decision to dine. The owner/manager escorted us
to our table and was polite and welcoming. The waitress
was a young pretty lady and she was equally polite and
made both my wife and I very welcome. I may be going on
and on about the politeness and the welcoming that we
received but we feel that is a major part of settling in
and enjoying a good meal. We placed our meal orders and
were overwhelmed by the amount i.e. large portion of food
on the plates. The food was indeed delicious and we
couldn't for the life of us finish what was placed in
front of us. I have a large appetite but still couldn't do
the meal justice by emptying the plate. The young lady
asked us if we had Kosher food prior to this visit and we
naturally both said no but remarked on how pleased we were
with the quality. The young lady then went on to say that
some people enter the restaurant and when they see that
Kosher food is being served, they turn around and walk
out, their loss because it was top quality food, well
prepared and presented. We were in Manhattan for five days
and this without doubt was the finest meal we had both in
quality and value. The service and friendliness was among
the best we have encountered in our long lives. I had a
beer with my meal and decided to have another. The young
lady returned to our table with the beer and said this
beer is on me. I couldn't believe my ears.

Great Food and Even Better Dessert!
This place was great! The food was excellent...not just
for kosher food, but in general. I'm not Jewish and this
is still one of my new favorite restaurants. My entire
(Southern!) family enjoyed it. I have to highly recommend
the cookie dessert. It really blew me away, so much so
that when I can't afford to eat there, I'll still stop by
just for that. While it is not cheap, it is definitely
worth the value...Especially considering the friendly,
warm service.

Great Fish/Nine Days Menu
I always come here for the steaks and grilled deli, and
for the really friendly staff. I came in this past Friday
and was pleasantly surprised at the fish menu. They had
grilled and seared salmon, grilled tuna steaks and I had
the Tilapia with mashed potatoes which was extemely
delicious. This place always surprises me, it just gets
better and better, and you should definitely come and try
the fish dishes!

Great kosher steakhouse!
I work in the neighborhood and am extremely satisfied
everytime I eat at Wolf and Lamb or order take out from
them. The midtown madness burger with sizzling pastrami on
top is always fantastic. The turkey sandwiches are packed
fill of succulent fresh roasted turkey breast, and the
pasta bolognese was also delicious. The service is very
friendly and quick. The place has the feel of a Parisian
steakhouse, absent the steak tartare and attitude. I have
recommended this place to several non-Kosher friends who
raved about it, saying the knishes were the best they ever
had. Let's keep this place in business for a long time, as
it is solid, non-pretentious and reasonably priced. I hear
they have live jazz a few nights a week, and hope to try
this too.

Quite A Good Meal!
I went to Wolf and Lamb for my birthday, and I was
extremely satisfied with the result! I had ribeye steak
and my companions had a different kind of steak, everyone
was very pleased with what they had! The vegetables and
potatoes were so-so, but the steak was excellent, tender
and tasty. The cookie stuffed with ice cream was an
excellent dessert-you would never know it's pareve! The
prices are not that bad-between $25 and $30 for a steak,
which is not exorbitant for a kosher steakhouse in
Midtown. All in all, I highly recommend Wolf & Lamb
for anyone in the mood for delectable kosher steaks!

Great and even Greater!
This was my second time going and again i did not leave
disappointed! The food was as usual great, only thing that
bothered me this time was that it was a drop more crowded
than usual and I found myself not just on a date with one
but with the four people sitting next to me! Still overall
a worthwhile experience!
Wolf and
Lamb
Just got back from thanksgiving dinner at Wolf and Lamb,
and instead of just raving to my friends as usual, decided
to actually share it with others . This place is by far
the best steakhouse in the city . The food is delicious,
from the appetizers to the entrees to the (if you could
still find room for - ) desserts. I love the nice warm
atmosphere as opposed to the chaotic scene of many other
restaurants in the city. The brick walls give a real warm
feeling to the place, and the service is also great.
Highly recommended!

Great time!
I recently tried this restaurant on the suggestion of a
friend. I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was
great and fresh tasting. I had the chicken pastrami wrap
and a chicken rumaki. The service was prompt and attentive
but without the usual manhattan "attitude". The
place has a warm exposed brick ambience and jazzy music.
the place was bit noisy but it was a mid week lunch so i
guess to be expected. it looks like a mix of high powered
execs getting steaks and plain joes stopping in for hot
pastrami! happy eats!

Great Food!
I came in there with a party of six last week and was
happily surprised. I'm used to a lower quality standard in
kosher places and this was right up there with the best.
The food was tasty and fresh and the portions were insane.
i was there with some none kosher friends and they were
really happy with the experience. Highly recommended.

Good Eats
Bottom line is that the service is solid, burgers are
solid, and you should eat everything you order here with
their homemade mayo-basil dressing. It's the best topping
out there. Meals are reasonably priced, and sides of potatoes
and salad leave you stuffed.

Good for business lunch
I have eaten at wolf and lamb at least 20 times with non-jewish
clients. I would call it the best and most reasonably
priced good food in NYC. Everybody I have taken there has
been impressed by the quality and service.

Great Food! Friendly Waitress
I ate there recently and had a great time. The menu has a
nice mix of old fashioned steaks and sandwiches as well as
some newer updates and the vibe is warm and kinda hip at
the same time. They also have live violin and flamenco
which I thought was a nice twist! Check it out! p.s. the
prices were reasonable considering youre a half block from
rockefeller center! Bon Apetit!

We
were staying in Times Square so wanted to find
somewhere to eat that wasn't a TGI's or Hard Rock
cafe, stumbled upon this restaurant by chance late
last Sunday evening, it was packed and had a lovely
atmosphere really welcoming and personal. Would

"Hungry
as a Wolf"-
A
Review of Wolf & Lamb Steakhouse
It is
written in Isaiah “The Wolf shall also dwell with the
lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid"
(11:6). We understand this allegory as a prophecy
representing an era of lasting peace and harmony, which
helps explain the owners’ philosophy behind Wolf &
Lamb Steakhouses' warm yet sophisticated ambiance and
fresh comfort food. The restaurant, which is family owned
and operated, serves upscale New American and
traditional foods as well as Old World Kosher Delicatessen
favorites. It is best classified as a casual steakhouse. I
had the opportunity to sample some of their best dishes at
really competitive Manhattan prices on a recent Thursday
evening, which by the way is one of the nights they offer
fantastic live Jazz.
We
began by tasting a selection from their starters menu. The
honey barbeque chicken drumettes were crunchy and
golden fried to perfection; this dish would be perfect for
children and picky eaters alike. We also sampled the
Rumaki, which contains grilled chicken wrapped in mesquite
barbequed pastrami. The pastrami had a slightly smoky
flavor, which housed moist chicken breast. The Wolf
& Lamb Cigars are also worth trying. The seasoned
herbed beef is bursting with flavor and wrapped in a light
pastry blanket. One dish I was thinking to avoid but
actually really enjoyed was their tongue and seasoned
avocado spring rolls served with Dijon ginger dipping
sauce. The fresh avocado wrapped around the succulent meat
was an innovative way to introduce tongue to the palette
(no pun intended).
Speaking
of sauces, Wolf & Lamb offers a nice array of their
coveted signature sauces that complement many of their
dishes. They include; Creamy Basil Sauce, Rustic Farmhouse
Garlic, and a Dijon Ginger sauce. Another exciting thing
to remember is that soon everyone can enjoy Wolf &
Lamb’s signature sauces since they will be available at
your local market.
Another
appetizer worth mentioning is their Reuben spring roll,
which contains corned beef, sauerkraut, and Russian
dressing in a light spring roll.
Their
steakhouse specials are all served generously with
sautéed vegetables in a white wine sauce and choice of
potato. Some of their most popular Entree choices include
the Bourbon Street Filet in Chef’s Cabernet reduction
sauce, Jack Daniel’s Mushroom Whiskey steak,
"Diablo" Devil’s sauce, and the new Cajun
Blackened Bayou hand rubbed ribeye cut. The meats are all
Rubashkin and are aged on site. The focused effort they
put into aging and preparing the steaks really comes
through in the exquisite flavor and texture of the meats.
All meats are flame grilled per customer preference.
If
you’re not much of a steak eater, Wolf and Lamb offers
some lighter and perhaps healthier options such as a
delicious turkey portobello burger served with sautéed
vegetables and choice of potato. Two fish dishes that drew
attention are seared salmon picata in a
tomato, caper, and white wine sauce. They also offer a
fresh Tuna steak encrusted with cracked peppercorns.
Another
reason why this place is appropriately named Wolf &
Lamb is because the setting of Lunch vs. Dinner varies as
much as the nature of a Wolf and Lamb. Lunch tends to be
very busy with a high powered corporate crowd while the
evening is an ideal place for a romantic dinner date,
quiet night out, or a family gathering. Celebrities,
Titans of the financial community, and Global
Political leaders have all graced this fine
establishment with their presence. Wolf and Lamb has
received rave reviews by customers and professional
reviewers and is modestly priced compared to other quality
kosher steakhouses in the vicinity. The staff is
fast, cordial, and unlike other Manhattan eateries,
completely unpretentious. Wolf and Lamb offers catering
for corporate affairs, sheva brachot, and all other
events.
